Description
Bring classic sport-airplane styling and versatile performance to your flying field with the Phoenix Models Wild 7 60" ARF. Designed for intermediate pilots, this retro-inspired model combines lightweight construction, responsive NACA airfoils, and the flexibility to use glow or electric power, making it an excellent choice for everyday sport flying and aerobatic fun.
Wild 7 60" Overview
The Phoenix Models Wild 7 60" ARF delivers the timeless look and satisfying flight characteristics of a classic RC sport airplane in a convenient Almost-Ready-to-Fly package. Its 60-inch wingspan provides a substantial presence without making the airplane difficult to transport or operate at a typical club field. With a flying weight of approximately 2,600 to 2,800 grams, the Wild 7 balances strength, agility, and predictable handling.
NACA airfoils give the Wild 7 balanced sport-flight characteristics suited to smooth circuits, precision passes, and basic aerobatic maneuvers. The lightweight airframe helps deliver responsive control, while the conventional four-channel layout keeps operation familiar for experienced sport pilots.
Power-system flexibility lets you configure the airplane to match your preferred flying experience. Install a .46 to .55 two-stroke glow engine or a .52 four-stroke engine for traditional sound and performance. You can also choose a 1,000 to 1,400-watt, approximately 480Kv brushless outrunner with a 6S 4,000 to 5,500mAh LiPo battery for clean, convenient electric power.
A removable top hatch provides convenient access to the fuselage interior for installing and maintaining the power system, battery, fuel system, and electronics. High-quality hardware is included to simplify final assembly and help you get the airplane ready for the field.

For electric operation, it can be equipped with a 1,000 to 1,400-watt, approximately 480Kv brushless outrunner, a 50 to 80-amp ESC, and a 6S 4,000 to 5,500mAh LiPo battery.
Classic Sport Performance
The Wild 7 combines retro-inspired styling with NACA airfoils designed to provide a satisfying blend of stability and responsiveness. Its aerodynamic layout is well suited to precise circuits, low passes, sport maneuvers, and basic aerobatics, giving intermediate pilots plenty of performance to explore.
Strong, Lightweight Construction
Lightweight construction helps keep the Wild 7 agile in the air, while its robust airframe provides the strength needed for regular sport flying. This balance contributes to predictable handling without sacrificing the responsive feel pilots expect from a dedicated sport model.
Convenient Top-Hatch Access
The removable top hatch gives you direct access to the airplane’s interior. This makes it easier to install and service the radio equipment, electric flight battery, motor components, fuel tank, and other onboard systems.
Practical 60-Inch Size
With a wingspan of 1,524mm, or 60 inches, and an overall length of 1,348mm, or 53 inches, the Wild 7 offers excellent visibility and presence in the air while remaining practical for transportation and storage. Its approximate 2,600 to 2,800-gram flying weight supports lively sport performance with the recommended glow or electric power systems.
